Training

A student member can belong to any of the different committees of the Institute but cannot be the head of any committee until graduation.
A student- member can participate to the extent that his/her status allows.
On graduation, the student- member becomes a regular member with all the rights privileges, and obligations of membership.

Available Courses: The practice of Homoeopathy in the modern World demands a good knowledge of basic and clinical sciences.
In her training programmes,the Institute therefore lays emphasis on the following courses:
Homoeopathy and its origin, Contributions of Dr Samuel Hahneman, Philosophy of Homoeopathy, Classical Homoeopathy, Organon of Medicine, Homeopathic Repertory, Homoeopathic Materia Medica, Miasms, Homoeopathic Nursing, Basic Sciences, Preclinical Sciences, Homoeopathy in Medicine and Surgery, O&G, Neurology & Psychiatry, Cardiology, Urology, Nephrology, Gastro enterology, ENT, Orthopaedic Medicine Paediatrics, Oncology Geriatrics, Opthamology and Public Health.

Duration of Courses: The duration of training for the Institute’s courses depends on the type of membership the applicant is seeking for. It ranges from one week for the Associates to six semesters and above, for the regular programme.

Library
The Institute has a very equipped reading library for all categories of members and the Library is open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.
Honorary Awards/ Honorary Fellow, Honorary Member, etc.
The Governing Council of the Institute decides from time to time to honour some distinguished Government officials and others who have contributed to the realisation of the aims and purposes of the Institute with Honorary Fellow or Honorary Member or Peace Ambassador, or Ambassador of Homoeopathy, etc, and such decision must be  ratified by the board of Trustees.
